OEM Cartridges

OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer

An OEM brand inkjet or toner cartridge is a print cartridge that carries the brand name of the manufacturer on it, usually the same as the printer manufacturer. (For example, an OEM Toner cartridge for a Hewlett Packard printer would be manufactured by Hewlett Packard)

  • highest quality and level of precision
  • designed to match your printer’s size and speed, fusing temperature, and paper type.
  • ideal for providing the best print quality.
  • much lower fail rate
  • lower probability of leaking
  • cost more than remanufactured or compatible cartridges

If your work and printing demands the absolute highest quality prints, purchasing OEM brand toner is the best choice.

Remanufactured/Compatible Cartridges

At Laser Lab, we offer both OEM and quality remanufactured/compatible ink and toner cartridges.

A remanufactured inkjet or toner cartridge is a used cartridge that has been serviced, cleaned, refilled with toner or ink and has component parts repaired or replaced.

A compatible toner cartridge is one that has been manufactured by a third party company to work with a particular brand and model of printer. Often thought of as the ‘generic’. Remanufactured and compatible toners are

  • lower in cost
  • environmentally friendly
  • same yield as OEM
  • often longer warrantees than OEM
  • third party companies sometimes easier to deal with if you have an issue with a cartridge

We can also help you property dispose of used toner cartridges!
